2 killed in 3-vehicle crash in KZN

Pietermaritzburg - Two men were killed and four others sustained injuries on Saturday evening in a collision that involved a minibus taxi and two vehicles on Edendale Road in KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said. 

The two men, believed to be in their late 20s to early 30s, were found trapped in one of the vehicles, said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing. 

They sustained multiple injuries and were declared dead on scene.

Three people from the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and the taxi driver sustained moderate injuries.

Authorities were on scene for further investigations, she added.
