Mpumalanga – Two men accused of rhino poaching appeared in the Bushbuckridge Magistrate's Court on Monday.

The two rangers - Sibusiso Mahlaule, 26, and Enous Mabunda, 44 - would remain in custody until their next court appearance.

The suspects were arrested at Skukuza Camp in the Kruger National Park after they were found in possession of four rhino horns on Saturday, Lieutenant Dineo Sekgotodi said.

The rhino horns had an estimated street value of R2m.

They were expected to appear before the Skukuza Periodical Court on Wednesday.
