3 arrested for fake bank notes

Johannesburg - Three people have been arrested on the N1 near the Grasmere Toll Plaza for alleged possession of counterfeit bank notes with a face value of around R100 000, Gauteng police said on Thursday.

Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said the men, two Nigerians and a Malawian, were taken into custody near the plaza on Wednesday.

Police stopped and searched the vehicle the men were travelling in and found counterfeit R100 notes.

The three would appear in the Lenasia Magistrate's Court soon.

    Making money is bocoming a lot easier. I wonder how much the bail will be, an if they can bring their own printer if they don't have the cash?
