Johannesburg - Three people were arrested near Graaff-Reinet on Thursday for possession of dagga worth about R73 000 on the street, Eastern Cape police said.

Lieutenant Livhuhani Mudau said the three were arrested after police stopped and searched their vehicle in a roadblock.

Two men, aged 27 and 37, and a 32-year-old woman were expected to appear soon in the Graaff-Reinet Magistrate's Court on a charge of possession of dagga, said Mudau.
