Johannesburg - Four people have been arrested in the Rodora multiple murder case in Randfontein, police said on Monday.

Monty McCormack, 73, his son Kennith McCormack, 42, Kennith's fiancée Marietjie Meyer and her 9-year-old daughter Kayla Meyer, were killed on a Randfontein farm in Rodora, Doornfontein, in March.

The arrests followed an intensive investigation by Randfontein detectives and members of the West Rand trio task team. The team specialises in tracking down murder, robbery and hijack suspects.

Brigadier Mashole Manamela, Randfontein Station Commander expressed his satisfaction with the arrests.

"This team of police officers are impacting positively on serious crime investigations," Manamela said.

The suspects appeared in the Randfontein Magistrate's court on Monday.

The case has been remanded to August 18.
