4 die in bakkie crash

Durban - Four people were killed and 11 seriously injured when their bakkie lost control and overturned on the R61 near St Michaels on Saturday evening, paramedics said.

The bakkie, which was carrying 15 passengers, was travelling in the direction of Margate shortly after20:00 when the driver lost control, Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said in a statement.

"Emergency services arrived at the scene and found that the crumpled remains of the vehicle came to rest about 200m down the road after ejecting the passengers along the way," Botha said.

The injured were treated on the scene before being taken to the provincial hospital in Port Shepstone.

    Bakkies don't lose control,drivers do!!..News84,I give up.Perhaps it is because you've gotten old,my friend.You no longer able to report correctly and accurately as you used to when you're still 24.Why can't you just close shop?...
