4 Durban fishermen rescued after boat capsizes

2016-04-26 11:19

Durban - Four fishermen were rescued after their boat capsized in the wake of another vessel in the port of Durban on Monday, the NSRI said.

"It is believed that the local ski boat, The Tyre Guy, with four Durban men on board, capsized from the wake of another boat," spokesperson Craig Lambinon said on Tuesday.

All four were found holding onto the upturned hull. They were helped into a police boat, taken to shore, and treated for mild hypothermia.

The boat was brought to shore with the help of a harbour container crane.
