4 held for Eastern Cape burglary

Johannesburg - Four men were arrested on Thursday for breaking into a secondary school in Bityi, south of Mthatha, Eastern Cape police said.

Major Ernest Sigobe said the men, aged between 18 and 24, broke into the Thandokazi Senior Primary School on Wednesday night.

Photocopying machines and feeding scheme parcels were stolen.

Police arrested the men on Thursday morning.

The stolen goods were found hidden in the ceiling of the house where the men were hiding.

They would appear in the Mthatha Magistrate's Court on Friday.
