Johannesburg - Four people were arrested in Inanda, north of Durban, for allegedly killing three men in the area, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Monday.

The four people, aged between 21 and 27-years-old, were arrested on Sunday, police spokesperson Thulani Zwane said.

They were arrested after the bodies of Mthobisi Shosh, Nkululeko Khanyile and Mfanafuthi Zwane were found around 07:30 on Thursday at the Bhambayo sports grounds.

Zwane said it appeared the three men had been hacked to death.

One of the people arrested was expected to appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrate's Court on Monday, with the other three expected to appear in the same court on Tuesday.
