Johannesburg - Four men were arrested in connection with a robbery on a farm in Buffelshoek, North West police said on Wednesday.

Brigadier Thulane Ngubane said the men, aged between 20 and 34, were arrested on Sunday.

They allegedly robbed an 82-year-old man and his wife at their farm in Buffelshoek in August.

"The [farmer and his wife] were tied up and their vehicle, a Toyota Hilux bakkie, a cellphone, and clothing were stolen."

The men were arrested in Setlagole and were expected to appear in the Potchefstroom Magistrate's Court soon.
