5 more dead in mine unrest - Num

Johannesburg - Five more people have died in mining unrest in South Africa, the National Union of Mineworkers said on Tuesday.

The union's secretary general Frans Baleni said two workers at the Impala platinum mine near Rustenburg and three others were killed on Sunday amid rolling strikes and labour violence.

    This is SAVAGERY and must create such despair from outside Africa.Why do these striking workers resort to death & destruction?And Vavi and Cosatu sit on the sidelines clueless and assuming zero responsibilty.Un f...g believable!!!
