55 injured as 2 buses, van collide in Pretoria

Johannesburg – Fifty-five people were injured when two buses and a delivery van collided in Atteridgeville in Pretoria on Tuesday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said the injuries were mostly minor. The patients were treated on the scene, in 15th Avenue, before being taken to various hospitals.

On Monday, 32 people were injured when a 75-seater bus overturned on the M1 South at the M2 split in Newtown, Johannesburg. The bus driver allegedly ran away after the accident.
