7 killed as taxi, bus collide on N1

Cape Town - Seven people, including three children, were killed when a minibus taxi and bus collided on the N1 near Touws River, Western Cape emergency medical services said on Tuesday.

Eleven people were injured in the accident around midnight, spokesperson Robert Daniels said.

"Emergency medical services rushed the survivors to Worcester Provincial Hospital where three remain in a critical condition," he said.
