Bloemfontein - Police have arrested seven people, five foreigners and two South Africans, for a series of robberies in the Sasolburg area, police said on Tuesday.

Constable Peter Kareli said the five Mozambicans and two South Africans, aged between 22 and 32, were arrested in Katlehong, Orange Farm and Mamelodi.

Stolen property were seized from the men.

Kareli said two more people were arrested in Vanderbijlpark who were found to be in possession of some of the stolen property.

Police said a task team was recently established to look into house robberies in Sasolburg.

More arrests were to follow as investigations were ongoing, Kareli said.

Send the five Mozambicans back to their country an lock the South Africans up or send them also to Mozambique. To many foreigners are causing to many problems in SA.

I couldn't agree with you more. When the citizens are fed up and want to take action it is quickly referred to as xenophobia and we are then reminded about Ubuntu. I think Ubuntu should maybe be regulated in some way as it is now simply received by outside criminals as a free pass to violate the citizens of south africa's basic human rights.
