8 people, including 4 children, killed in collision

Durban - Four children were among the dead following a car accident in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday, paramedic services have said.

EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie said a bakkie and car collided on the N2 near Umzumbe killing a total of four adults and four children.

"The head on collision led to their deaths." 

The exact details of the crash are unknown at this stage.
