9 injured in KZN taxi accident

Durban – Nine people were injured when a taxi and a car collided in Redhill, north of Durban, on Tuesday.

Crisis Medical spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said injuries at the scene ranged from minor to moderate.

He said paramedics had arrived on the scene shortly after 14:00 to find the minibus lying on its roof.

"Nine people suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were treated and stabilised on scene before being taken by ambulance to various nearby hospitals for further care.

"The cause of the incident is unclear and the necessary authorities will investigate further," he said.
