  • Rudolph Opperman - 2013-07-08 08:11

Sorry to hear, but road users should also take responsibility for their own and other peoples safety. The small holdings where I stay they might as well just remove all the stop signs!

  • Junior Jay Tyala - 2013-07-08 08:15

Driving license is not the only solution but road safety education can add value , too

  • giepievz - 2013-07-08 08:23

The R25 has been a death trap for a long time. Especially the stretch between Bapsfontein and Birchleigh. This stretch of road is used by high volumes of traffic every day, and yet is a narrow stretch of tarmac with very little or no runoff. When e-tolling hits, it will become worse, because you will find many people using this road from Pretoria, Bronkhorstspruit and Delmas to get to Kempton Park now that the complete R21 is becoming tolled. This is something that local and provincial government together with Sanral have to urgently look at for it can only become worse.

      Rudolph Opperman - 2013-07-08 16:14

And my problem gets worse, we stay in Bredell. They will be rushing through here!

Jaco saved me from saying the same thing. we appoint people to look after us and run our country properly....Instead they spend our money on house and home decoration......

    Imo sat. 23.00 = alcohol / fatigue.

  • Al Loots - 2013-07-08 11:22

A country filled with death. More people die here daily than in some strife torn countries. Sickening. Considering this can be controlled, but this cANCerous government is inherently incompetent, preferring to devise new ways to rob the taxpayer. Disgusting.

  • Sara Wilkinson - 2013-07-08 12:27

And the carnage goes on. Until people respect the rules of the road and other road users ,this will go on. I'm so sick of people jumping red lights, overtaking on solid white lines and generally taking risks.I wish they would spontaneously combust and leave the roads to people who can drive safely and properly.

  • Malebo Phago - 2013-07-08 15:38

Head-on collusions just mean recklessness! People should respect the rules of the road and other road users. May the souls of those who lost their lives rest in peace. My condolences to their loved ones.
