Johannesburg - The African National Congress Youth League bid farewell on Friday to its founding father, former president Nelson Mandela.

"We, as the ANC Youth League, call on the youth of our country to join in paying homage to our great leader," it said in a statement.

"Lala ngoxolo Tata. Long live Madiba, long live."
