Johannesburg - A man was arrested in Zola in Soweto on Friday after he was found with stolen electronic equipment, police said.

Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said police found the 18-year-old man in a shack after receiving a tip-off.

He was allegedly part of a gang that robbed several homes in Germiston in the East Rand.

Radios, televisions, computers and other electrical appliances were recovered from the shack.

Police were still searching for the other members of the gang, Makhubela said.

The man will appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Probably be walking the the streets again in one month, but well done to the cops! Items were found, but who knows what the bas....rds are doing to the innocent victims to obtain this equipment, torment, murder, rape, held at gun-point threatened with their lives. In otherwords they can be positively linked to specific incidents, all they wll face in court is a charge of being in possion of suspected stolen goods and thus even get off with a suspended sentence of three months!? All this allowing them to continue committing their criminal activities and getting away with minor sentences, if at all.... !
