Johannesburg - The case against right-wing leader Andre Visagie was postponed by the Kimberley Magistrate's Court on Friday, SABC radio reported.

The matter would resume on 24 August to give the court time to summon witnesses for cross examination, it said.

Visagie, leader of the Geloftevolk Republikeine, was arrested in March last year on a charge of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

He was later granted bail of R10 000.
