2012-10-26 20:33

Johannesburg - Motorists should beware of a group of about five men smashing car windows on the M1 at the Smit Street onramp, Braamfontein, Johannesburg metro police said on Friday.

"They run onto the freeway as the traffic is moving slowly and break the car windows, grabbing cellphones and other items," Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

At least three cars had their windows smashed during rush hour on Friday afternoon.

Motorists were urged to contact the metro police on 011-375-5911 if they saw the criminals.
