It may sound nasty but where I stay we have a serious bike problem These guys on their big bikes fly past on residential roads and have no care or responsibility whatsoever. In most cases the exhaust system is damaged and the noise is no longer cool but one hellova din. Only time is preventing a fatality. The bike is usually running at maximum revs.

How is your comment relevant to this article? Unless you know that the biker caused the accident. May the biker's Soul Rest In Peace and a speedy recovery to the driver.

It's a pity that we still have people who think like you and don't view accidents in a broader scope, recklessness on our roads is not done by certain people who drive a particular type of transport. It is done by everyone including those who think they are a better species who drives a car and have better understanding of what causes accidents on the roads

      zionpercival.pay - 2012-12-10 12:45

What I am saying is that there will be more accidents and deaths if the causes are not hi-lighted.

      zionpercival.pay - 2012-12-10 12:48

Just by the way: ever woken up at 3 am to listen to the bike races in my area. try it and get a free sample of a possible death.

I used to be a biker at one stage, but because of the sheer bad manners displayed by both motorists and bikers in general, I eventually sold my machine for more than I originally paid for it, as I kept it immaculate. I consider myself to be a good driver, road courtesy being my prerogative, after having been testes successfully in no less than SEVEN categories and now hold a licence showing Code 14 and motorcycle, which covers everything else. One of the most valuable lessons I learned from my SADF instructor consisted of three letters: AFS - Attitude, Fallback, Space - go figure what that entails, and you have the perfect formula for safe driving!!!

      AFS, I like it!
