Johannesburg - A man and woman travelling on a motor cycle were killed when their bike collided with a truck and small bakkie at the Van Reenen's Pass on the N3 near the Drakensburg on Saturday, said paramedics.

Two other people were injured in the accident, said KwaZulu-Natal EMS spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie.

"One patient was critically injured, while the other patient had sustained serious injuries. KZN EMS paramedics stabilised the patients and transported them to hospital,"  said McKenzie.

While the cause of the accident was not immediately known, Mckenzie cautioned motorists to slow down when driving in poor conditions.
