Johannesburg - A 10-year-old boy drowned on Thursday
while swimming in a pool at a lodge near the R30 in Klerksdorp, North West,
paramedics said.
"It is believed that the boy had been underwater for
roughly 45 minutes when he was apparently pulled from the water by an unknown
man," ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
Paramedics found a group of bystanders had gathered
around the pool.
The boy was declared dead on the scene.
