Cape Town ATM blown up

Cape Town - An ATM was blown up in Kraaifontein, Cape Town, on Tuesday morning, Western Cape police said.

Lieutenant Colonel Tembinkosi Kinana said residents of Northpine heard an explosion at 02:45.

Police officers discovered an ATM had been blown up at the Northpine supermarket. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. No injuries were reported. A malicious damage to property case was being investigated and no arrests had been made.

      Even if someone breaks into your car, police dont take finger prints. They ask you if you have insurance so they can give you a case number.

      Even when your car gets stolen they tell u to just file an insurance claim and that you will never find your car.

      Indeed. I’m from Witbank and it’s difficult to find an ATM that hasn't been blown up. These acts although pretty common here has escalated a little. Last round they actually killed a guard otherwise we don’t even look twice at a blown up ATM.

    shame maan, the banks did put ATMS closer to the people, like in town ships and so on, this is to make people life's easy not to travel long just for cash. so the lazy ones will just blow them up. i really think they should remove them all leave those on malls and garages, pity many people will suffer.
