Cape man held for credit card crimes

Cape Town - A man was arrested in Nyanga, Cape Town, on Tuesday for suspected credit card crimes, police said.

Captain Frederick van Wyk said the man, 46, was found with an undisclosed amount of money, 15 All Pay social grant cards, 22 bank cards and 35 identity documents with bank cards inside every one.

He was arrested after police were told he was standing near an ATM and collecting money from pensioners.

He was set to appear in Athlone Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
