Cape Town - The case of a man charged with drug smuggling, raping a minor and forcing her into prostitution was postponed in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court, the Cape Times reported on Thursday.

The 39-year-old Nigerian appeared in the dock on Wednesday, where lawyers argued the severity of the case.

The State and his lawyer were deciding whether he should be charged with a schedule five or six offence, with the latter being the most serious.

The case was postponed to 31 July for a bail application.

Actually more, jailed foreigners account for more of our prisoners than Jailed locals - Our tax money is going towards looking after foreigners in jail!!

I commented on a news report about crime, I said \ we sould bring back the colosium for rape, murder, slavery\ basically all crimes that take away 1ns rights as a human being.... And some tool laughed at me..... I say we let them kill each other old school..... No fun with a gun but with an axe or sword would be very entertaining...... Creates jobs, free's up prison space and saves tax payers from feeding these low life's not really the death penalty as you have a 50/50 chance to live....

It bothers me that a case of this nature is being postponed to determine bail, what is wrong with this world if a child-rapist are being considered for bail?!
