Zuma cancels Mozambique trip

President Jacob Zuma has canceled his trip to Mozambique because of former president Nelson Mandela's worsening condition. Watch.WATCH

Pretoria - A convoy of luxury vehicles fitted with blue lights left the Pretoria hospital, where critically ill former president Nelson Mandela is being treated shortly after 13:30 on Thursday.

Reports that President Jacob Zuma was in the convoy could not be confirmed, as spokespeople in his office could not immediately be reached.

Three BMWs and a Mercedes-Benz Vito minivan earlier passed through a security checkpoint at one of the hospital's entrances.

International relations department spokesperson Clayson Monyela was in the convoy, going in the direction the Union Buildings, the office the president. Monyela was not immediately available to comment.

Earlier, his Mandela's daughter Makaziwe Mandela told SABC: "I'm not going to lie, he's not looking good."
