Domestic worker found dead on farm

2012-12-12 12:27

Rustenburg - A domestic worker has been found dead in her employer's farm house in Kraalhoek, near Rustenburg, North West police said on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old woman was found dead in the lounge on Tuesday by a caretaker and a gardener, said Lieutenant-Colonel Lesego Metsi.

It was suspected that the shot that killed her was fired through a sliding door from outside the house. A spent 9mm cartridge was found.

The woman had been left to look after the house when her employers went on holiday on Friday.

Police had ruled out the possibility that the motive was robbery, because nothing was stolen from the house.

"All property including vehicles and household valuables and her cellular phone had not been tampered with," said Metsi.

Investigations were continuing.

Another farm murder, but this one won't be a labelled as 'genocide'!

      zuma.compound - 2012-12-12 13:29

No. When a member of a race group kills another member of the same race group it is not considered genocide.

Just give it to the public protector if you dont know. Seems to be the trend these days.

  • Sibusiso - 2012-12-12 13:56

Well,I guess the motive for her murder depends on the colour of her skin!According to some in this country ,the motive for the attack on a person is inextricably bound on their skin colour.

This is very sad and very evil shooting someone in cold blood! Crime is escalating out of control over the festive season. This is no ordinary crime because nothing was stolen. I can guarantee you it was not her employers that murdered her why would they do it on their own farm? I say it could be a lover or farm workers from nearby farms maybe?

      zapadela.tistarocha - 2012-12-12 14:16

Zapadela this is a farm murder that went wrong! You see the employers went on holiday. The murderers didn't know this and thought they could quickly slaughter a boer or two and rape the wife and daughters. But instead they found the domestic worker. Murder is wrong black, white or purple it doesn't matter. Villains beware all us South Africans are going to retaliate! We are GATVOL for the Rape,Murders and barbaric slaughtering of our citizens!

You seem to be up to speed regarding this Incident, I suggest it is your legal obligation to visit the nearest Cop-shop. Please may I utilize your crystal ball for more pressing issues ???

      dewaldt.duplessis.5 - 2012-12-12 17:56

Zapadela why always try and make it a race issue? Its bad enough that we are killed on a daily basis. Zuma gets a bravery award only hell knows why. It is us South Africans that should get a bravery award for surviving the onslaught everyday. We fear for our lives because we don't know when its going to be our turn. So please stop being a troll that girl didn't deserve being killed.

A family has lost a member but most of the comments are racially motivated, a crime was committed we should be maybe providing clues on helping solving our social problems.
