Johannesburg - A man has been arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl in Tsolo, 40km north of Mthatha, Eastern Cape police said on Tuesday.

Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said the man, 22, was arrested at about 22:00 on Monday.

WTF is going on in the Mtatha area? There are all these stories of rape, stabbings, murders etc. Surely the Minister of Police should consider deploying extra man power to that area.

Well I think it is in the mentality of the people who live in the EC............they think it is their right to take what they want be it a live or the innocence of a child.I think they all need to be castrated so we can curb the rape and over population and the brand them

It has been getting worst and worst! Something needs to be done to bring it too an end and no poverty and ignorance are not an excuse for the loss of humanity; there needs to be a define solution on how to combat this epidemic. Like any epidemic is must be combat aggressively and decisively and the perpetrator must dealt with in a manner that will make an example to each and every one, even if it outrages the public. People must stand unified in this regard. Stop talking about the problem it comities and political circles, stop playing the blame game. Step up to the plate and fight to protect the innocent children of this country and that means every single person in this country must step up. Talk is cheap and so are the lives of our children at the moment
