E Cape traffic official dismissed

Johannesburg - A senior official in Uitenhage's traffic department was fired on Friday after being found guilty of misconduct, a municipal spokesperson said.

Dennis Januarie was found guilty on 16 charges of dishonesty, said Kupido Baron, a spokesperson for the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality in the Eastern Cape.

Januarie was found guilty of telling his staff to perform illegal transactions and for failing to perform his duties diligently, carefully, and to the best of his ability, Baron said.

Municipal safety and security standing committee chairperson Wandisile Jikeka said Januarie had allowed people applying for their driver's and learner's licences not to have their eyes tested.

He also allowed the illegal conversion of foreign licences to South African licences.

Januarie had been on suspension, with seven colleagues, since December 2008 and a ninth staff member was suspended later.

Disciplinary action against the others had still to be concluded.

"This is part of the ANC-led Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality's stance against corrupt and fraudulent activities," Jikeka said.

"We will continue to work towards a clean and corruption free traffic and licensing sub-directorate."

In another case, the municipality suspended two traffic officers who had crashed their patrol car while driving drunk when they were off duty but on stand-by.

Hamilton Totoyi, director of traffic and licensing for Nelson Mandela Bay, said disciplinary action against them was at an advanced stage.

It starts with the CORRUPTION OF THE MIND; Kasrils, a white communist from USSR, comes and tells the Black People of South Africa that Barbarism and Savagery = stealing and killing, is OK against the Whites. Just that you do not call it stealing and killing, you call it the LIBERATION STRUGGLE. And the whole FALSE STORY is called the national democratic revolution, ndr. Than comes the CORRUPTION OF THE MORALS. Since 1982 Gorbachov who became PRESIDENT OF USSR, denounced communism and the ndr as a FAILURE. But the SA Communist Party and the ANC don't believe him. By 1987 the Chinese Communist Party was reforming AWAY from communism and the ndr, stating that China was 50 years behind Hong Kong. But the SA Communist Party and the ANC don't believe Hu Jintao. The India Government ABANDONS socialism/communism towards FREE MARKET REFORMS. But the SA Communist Party and the ANC don't believe them. They sent 3 guys to Moscow in + - 1993 to find out what is happening. The now Russians ex-communist officials laugh at their naive belief in the false communist propaganda. the SA Communist Party and its puppet the ANC, still hold on to false communist lies. Than comes the FINANCIAL CORRUPTION. Anc = Association of National Criminals, Abortion Murder Genocide. Destroying South Africa since 1957.
