Eastern Cape family robbed at gunpoint

East London - A family was robbed at gunpoint in a shack at Kayser's Beach near East London on Tuesday, said Eastern Cape police.

"The family was asleep in their shack when three unknown men burst in, pointing a handgun and knives at them," said Captain Stephen Marais.

He said the men made off with money and jewellery shortly before 06:00.
