Father, son shot in Pinetown

Durban - A father and son were shot and wounded at their business premises in Pinetown, Durban, on Thursday morning, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

The 51-year-old man and his 33-year-old son were shot in Nagina, Pinetown, Major Thulani Zwane said.

"The number of the suspects is unknown at this stage and nothing was taken from the victims," he said.

Two cases of attempted murder were being investigated.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said paramedics arrived at the scene at 07:30 and stabilised the pair before taking them to a nearby hospital. He described their condition as serious.
