Fire breaks out at Mxit offices

Cape Town – Mxit staff had to be temporary relocated after a fire broke out at their Stellenbosch offices early Wednesday morning.

TechCentral reported that a fired caused by an electric fault started at around 02:00 on Wednesday.

Mxit chief financial officer Richard Newton told the website that there was a fair amount of smoke and that 10 staff members had to be relocated while the damage caused by the fire was repaired.

According to Memeburn  the fire had no impact on the Mxit’s operation.
