Pretoria - Charges have been dropped against another pair of officers involved in the Gupta plane landing scandal, it was reported on Friday.

According to the SA National Defence Force, Colonel Thabo Ntshisi and Colonel Nomsa Khumalo were cleared of wrongdoing, reported eNCA.

On Tuesday this week, all charges against Lieutenant Colonel Stephan van Zyl and Lieutenant Colonel Christine Anderson were also withdrawn, Sapa stated.

All four officers were accused of being involved in the landing of a private jet carrying guests to a wedding for wealthy business family the Guptas, at the Waterkloof Air Force base in Pretoria.

Anderson claims to have text messages in which President Jacob Zuma's name apparently appears often, leading to questions about the president's exact role in the controversial plane landing, wrote Netwerk24.
