Heatwave, fire danger in Northern Cape, Central Karoo

Kimberley - The South African Weather Service has warned of extremely high fire danger conditions expected over the northern and central interior of the Northern Cape and the Central Karoo of the Western Cape on Thursday.

SA Weather Service said hot and dry weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over the Central Karoo.

Stock up on iced drinks and water when travelling to these areas.

Travellers are warned that a heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in the Central Karoo and the southern parts of the Northern Cape.
