Joburg furniture warehouse burnt down

Johannesburg - A fire broke out at a furniture warehouse in Johannesburg CBD on Monday, the city emergency services said.

"We have evacuated all the people from the building; there are no injuries," said spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi.

"The cause of the fire is not known."

He said the double storey building in Marshalltown caught fire at about 10:00.

    Yes but this is not the first fire downtown - so it does make us think - arson or insurance claims! Then the man in the streets insurance premiums go up while these idiots get away with the money! Hope we have forensics in the calibre of CSI - to nail the bastards - or find the arsonists.....

    Even if they knew about the fire in advance they would never have even given the furniture to many people who don't even have furniture... If it that doesn't make you wonder then you live in a box...
