KZN drug dealer arrested

Johannesburg - A man was arrested for dealing and possession of drugs in Shallcross, Durban, police said on Saturday.

The man was arrested on Friday after police members were tipped off, spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane in a statement.

"Durban Flying Squad Narcotics members arrested a 32-year-old male for dealing in drugs," said Zwane.

"[They] found him in possession of 15 pieces of rock cocaine, four mandrax tablets and 39 straws of heroine."

The street value of the drugs was estimated at R4 880, he said.

The man will appear in Chatsworth Magistrate's Court on Monday.
