KZN farm robbers arrested

Johannesburg - Three men were arrested for allegedly robbing a farm at gunpoint in Harding, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Tuesday.

Luzuko Booi, 30, Mlungisi Cele, 23, and Harrison Nzimande, 29, were arrested for the robbery committed in January.

They allegedly tied down a security guard at the farm and waited for the owner of the farm to return to the property.

When the farm owner returned to his property he was held at gun point and forced to open his strongroom.

The robbers stole two pistols, two air guns, a shot gun, live ammunition, jewellery and cash.

Police recovered the stolen firearms hidden near rocks near a river.
