Johannesburg - A man who robbed and killed a pastor's wife last year was jailed by the Willowvale Magistrate's Court for 30 years, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.

Captain Jackson Manatha said 22-year-old Siphe Msongelwa was sentenced on Thursday to 15 years in jail for the murder and another 15 for the robbery.

Msongelwa attacked Pumla Ngoza in her home in April last year.

He stabbed her several times and stole her cellphone and cash.
