Hopefully this clarifies confusion that may have arisen earlier. Yes, Abrahams did say that a decision hadn't been made on whether to prosecute Jiba and then said moments later than it had been decided not to prosecute her.

The National Prosecuting Authority offices were filled with media on Tuesday ahead of a briefing by the body's head, Shaun Abrahams. Various media organisations tweeted that Abrahams was expected to make announcements on a number of cases.

There was speculation that one of the cases was that of the Oscar Pistorius appeal.
