10:54 - Bam: Mohlane said he didn't go to the police after the "rape" incident because he didn't see blood and he'd done nothing wrong. 

10:45 - Judgment: Bam says accused Pieta Mohlane claims he was told that he and co-accused would have sex with Bonette as a "surprise".

10:41 - Judge Bam elects not to repeat Kotze's repeated racial slurs, instead noting that he called co-accused "the k-word".

10:34 - Judge Bam: State pointed out numerous contradictions in evidence of Andries Sithole [accused two]. 

10:25 - Accused two [Sithole] says the kitchen door was open and they fled

10:23 - Accused two testified when the three accused said they could not rape Bonnette, Kotze told them they were 'useless' and to leave the room.

10:20 - Sithole [Accused two] says he was so afraid of Kotze that there was no way he could defy him.

10:18 - Judge Bam: Accused two testified that Kotze told Bonnette that since he wasn't satisfying her sexually, he brought three men.

10:17 - Judge Bam: Accused two [Sithole] testified that Kotze said "Bokkie, don't be afraid, these people aren't going to kill you".

10:13 - Accused two testified he went to Kotze 's house to do some building work, wash a caravan and clean a room.

10:11 - Accused number two Andries Sithole's version of events are now being summarised by Bam. 

10:10 - State psychologist Coetzee found that Kotze was accountable for his deeds.

10:09 - Judge ordered that identities of people who gave evidence to state psychologist about Kotze violence must be withheld.

10:09 - Judge Bam moves onto State's clinical psychologist, Coetzee who did not find any signs of narcisism.

10:06 - Judge has concluded his review of Kotze defence evidence.

10:05 - Spangenberg says Kotze saw Bonnette as the supply for his narcissistic tendencies, when the supply was cut off, he retaliated.

10:03 - Spangenberg found Kotze was temporarily not accountable for his deeds due to an acute stress disorder.

10:02 - Judge Bam: Spangenberg said tipping point was when Bonnette placed a vibrator on the table and told him to use it on someone else.

10:01 - Spangenberg found that Kotze has a "narcissistic personality disorder" and flew into a narcissistic rage before attack.

10:01 - Bam: Spangenberg didn't attend court proceedings, made her findings after consulting with Kotze and his defence.

10:00 - Judge Bam: Spangenberg's opinion was that Kotze was temporarily not to be held accountable due to stress.

9:58 - Jacaranda FM's Karin Labuschagne tweeted: Judge Bam now heading into Kotze's clinical psychologist Tertia Spangenberg's evidence - who concluded narcisism.

9:55 - Judge Bam: Kotze couldn't explain why he didn't untie Bonnette when she asked him to. Denies mutilating Bonnette.

9:49 - Judge Bam: Kotze testified that he didn't know how cable ties and rope got in the room.

9:48 - Judge Bam: Kotze vehemently denied threatening the other three accused with a gun.

9:46 -  Judge Bam: Kotze denied seeing the other three accused raping Bonnette.

9:46 - Judge Bam: Kotze forgot existence of his diary. Only became aware when his lawyer reminded him of it.

9:44 - Judge Bam: Kotze said he didn't realize that he had shot Conrad. He later heard on the radio that Conrad was dead. 

9:43 - Judge Bam: Kotze said he was aware of the gun in his hands. Could remember [Bonnette's son] Conrad saying twice "moenie, Oom [don't, uncle]".

9:42 - Judge Bam: Kotze said Bonnette asked him to untie her. She also asked for water.

9:42 - Kotze testified he didn't realise he was pushing the 7.5cm needle into Bonnette's breasts.

9:41 - Judge Bam: Kotze said when he saw blood, he got a huge fright and left the room.

9:39 - Kotze: I asked [co-accused] very nicely to please not rape Ina.

9:38 - Kotze says he was "shocked" to see his labourers about to sexually assault Ina. He "saved" her from them. 

9:35 - Kotze says he descended into insanity after Ina Bonette took out a vibrator and told him to use it on his next girlfriend.

9:29 - Judge Bam: Kotze says he couldn't sleep for days, after seeing Bonnette with [another man].

9:28 - Bam: Johan Kotze says he was so upset that he aggressively kicked his beloved daughter's kitten.

9:27 - Kotze detailed how he stalked Bonette on New Year's Eve and saw her with other man. He was "very disturbed".

9:26 - Bam moving swiftly through evidence for State. He's completed Bonette evidence, as well as testimony of the daughter, tweets eNCA's Karyn Maughan.

9:25 - Judge Bam: Kotze did however get a domestic violence interdict against Bonnette after she attacked him. Revoked it.

9:24 - Judge Bam: Although Bonnette and Kotze reconciled, they separated once again. Kotze said they kept on seeing each other.

9:24 - Judge Bam: Kotze was tired and had relatively high blood pressure. Also had scratches on body from thorns.

9:22 - Judge Bam: Plastic surgeon consulted with Bonnette on 4 January. Confirmed brutal injuries to chest area. 

9:21 - Judge Bam: Police records suggest that two firearms were reported as stolen in 2003 - no record of them being found.

9:20 - Judge refers to Kotze diary, which he wrote while on the run, hiding in the bush. In it, he calls Bonette "bokke".

9:20 - Judge Bam: Kotze asked for psychological help himself.

9:19 -  Judge Bam: Kotze's diary, found in car, was submitted as evidence.

9:18 - Judge Bam: Blankets, gas cylinder amongst others, found in Kotze's car.

9:16 - Police cellphone expert Francois Moller also testified about the contact between Kotze and his co-accused before and after the incident.

9:15 - Judge Bam: There were 48 calls noted from Kotze to accused 2 from December till 3 January.

9:14 - Bam moving through evidence given by police cellphone expert, who revealed how Kotze had flooded Ina with calls, SMSes.

9:13 - Bam: Kotze accused Bonnette of everything and said he wanted to commit suicide.

9:11 - Judge Bam: Kotze phoned Van der Merwe at 16:00. Said he didn't want to live anymore. Went to his house 9 days later

9:10 - Judge Bam: Kotze's daughter Jo-Mari would've gone to Bela-Bela with her father. Kotze phoned her several times.

9:08 - Doctor admitted he didn't indicate all Bonnette's injuries on the forms. He couldn't give a reason why he did that.

9:06 - Judge Bam: According to doctor, Bonnette was sexually attacked and indeed penetrated.

9:04 - Pathologist testified gun shot wounds were the cause of Conrad Bonnette's death.

9:02 - Judge Bam: Forensic pathologist testified that no male DNA was found on the tape which was placed over Bonnette's mouth.
