Cape Town - A briefing will be held to update the media on the condition of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, his foundation announced on Tuesday.

Tutu’s daughter, The Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu will brief journalists on her father's health.

A reliable source told News24 that the 83-year-old Nobel laureate was back in hospital.

He has been hospitalised in recent weeks for an infection, described by his daughter as “below the belt”.
