Johannesburg - A Bedfordview lawyer suspected of having killed private investigator Kevin Trytsman in 2009, has skipped the country, Eyewitness News reports.

George Michaelides appeared in court in 2009 for shooting Trytsman after the two reportedly had come to blows over a multimillion-rand contract.

EWN reported on Thursday that after the shooting, it was alleged that both Czech businessman Radovan Krejcir and George Smith, who was implicated in Lolly Jackson's murder, had congratulated Michaelides for killing Trytsman.

Eyewitness News understands Michaelides fled with millions of rands in trust fund money and may be in India.

Our society is corrupted on every level, and in every shape and form. Were are a haven for criminals from every Country, even paedophiles from England. I am GLAD I decided to have no children. What would have happened to them? Be used as bait? Have no chance of gainful employment? Become Nigerian Crack whores? The list goes on and on. And before you tell me to go to greener pastures: I have no overseas passport or money enough to convince anyone to take me on good faith. We are doing badly, SA. Either we stand together or fall together.

As a rule things like that happen to children whose parents neglect them. Nothing like that has happened to me or anyone I know. Put the newspaper down and get out there. This is great country with a few problem people who need to be sorted out. Your comments really make things worse. I am a young white male and all my white male friends are gainfully employed. Sure, not in the traditional big institutions with cushy jobs, but I am still doing alright. This place is full of opportunity if you just put the newspaper down, stop panicking and get moving!

So many swimmers in a pool of scum. They deserve each other. They are all tainted, and most of them come to a sticky end. Problem is, they teach others to follow their example, so it's a generational curse! Please God help us eradicate this type of scum from our society.
