Johannesburg - A man who raped a 10-year-old girl was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Naphuno Regional Court on Wednesday, Limpopo police said.

"The 22-year-old man, Rector Khosa, was found guilty after he raped a 10-year-old girl at the Nwa Jaheni Village in 2010," Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said.

He said the girl went to fetch her 2-year-old brother from Khosa's residence when she was raped.

"Since 2010, Khosa was denied bail and kept in custody," Ramatseba said.

Life imprisonment ..... Is that ALL. Hope he gets a taste of his own medicine in prison

      Jeeves - 2012-02-01 21:03

Much worse, they are really hard on child rapists and such in prisons. I think that guy is about to experience another level of living hell.

Now onto all of those who made underaged girls pregnant! It is also rape, we know the judges can hand out the sentences (well done, your Honour). Let Nathi tell us how many he got for statutory rape as well. For every underage pregnant girl who want child support, there is a rapist out there. Nathi, vat hulle vas. That is now Nathi Mthetwa, if you do not know Nathi.

he should be raped and then burned alive along side the baby rapists and witch docters

  • Yar - 2012-02-01 20:27

This should carry the death penalty. How can someone do this to a little child and leave her scarred and damaged for life.

For me the thing that is disturbing is one of two things : either the legal system is really inconsistent, or our media choose to filter well. I would like to believe the latter, but given the ANC track record I am not certain of that.

if we seriously want to do something to stop ALL rape .... they just need to start cutting -off these rapists penisses !!! simple and absolutely effective ...the rapist wont be able to be a repeat-criminal ..ohh and ALL would-be rapists would definitely think 400 times before doing these offences and 99.99 % WOULD DROP THE IDEA OF DOING SUCH EVIL DEEDS !!! PERIOD !!

  • Schalk - 2012-02-01 22:36

Excellent!! Hope he gets raped every day for the rest of his life for what he did to that girl. Her life is now destroyed. Bastard.

      TJ - 2012-02-02 11:47

Maybe his name will now be changed from 'Rector Khosa' to 'Rectum Khosa'.

  • Johan - 2012-02-02 06:32

    He will be out soon!

  • Roelof Botha - 2012-02-02 06:50

They should cut of his genitals and re-attach it to his forehead. Then release him back into society. That way we will all be able to recognize these bastards in public and give them a lekker P**S Klap!

Well done to the Judge, he showed us he has the (balls) to hand down a hefty sentence, now all must follow suit

  • Perfume5 - 2012-02-02 08:48

Life imprisonment means just that, no parole after serving 5 years. He will wish the judge had sentenced him to death, he will be enduring rape every single day of his life in prison - vile person.

  • reza.daniels1 - 2012-02-02 08:48

Now if only every child rapists could get a life or death sentence...

  • schalk.mattheys - 2012-02-02 08:49

  • Trudy - 2012-02-08 15:52

@Jeeves Unfortunately child rape in this country is a disgustingly rampant problem and more than likely a whole lot of criminals sitting in jail for whatever crimes have done it too. They wouldn't bat an eye at him. I say give him to the bikers to sort out.
