Johannesburg - Three people accused of the ritual killing of an Indian woman in Makhado, Limpopo, appeared in the Makhado Magistrate's Court on Monday, police said.

The case against Musaisso Patel, 60, Hassinah Patel, 62, and Freddy Tshikhudo Nethengwe, 38, was postponed until 15 April when they were expected to make a formal bail application, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.

The three men, who were arrested at a cafe on Saturday, would remain in custody until then, he said.

Police found the woman's arm on Friday, following a tip-off. The rest of the body was found the next day.

Her identity was not known, but she was thought to be from Durban and to have been between 30 and 35-years-old.
