Malema's former office burgled

2012-07-01 14:37

Johannesburg - The office which former ANCYL leader Julius Malema used to occupy at ANC headquarters was broken into last week, the Sunday Independent reports.

Books and files were taken from his office, and his former personal assistant Moshala Mothiba's computer was stolen, from Luthuli House in central Johannesburg, apparently while the ANC was holding its policy conference in Midrand.

"The incident happened while the people were at (the policy) conference," police spokesperson Inspector Lorraine van Emmerik told the newspaper.

She said police were investigating a case of business robbery.

The Sunday Independent quoted unnamed sources saying that the door had not been forced open, and that the computer contained information on the daily running of the league.

Malema was expelled from the African National Congress earlier this year and barred from entering any of the party's offices.

  • vernon.samuel.7 - 2012-07-01 16:09

Police have today confirmed that the thief only stole 4 books from Malema's office; 1) Computers for dummies, 2) computers for dummies who did not understand computers for dummies; 3) english words for which there are no equivalent words in pedi and 4) how to differentiate the tastes of consecutive president's rear-ends. Malema is understood to have offered a reward of a tender for text books in limpopo to the person who returns these books.

Hmm, so whose office is it now? Was it left as a shrine after he departed? Or is this cashing-in on the Malema name to get us to read about yet another robbery? You might as well report that the house I used to live in was burgled.
