Man dies in Gauteng microlight crash

Johannesburg - A man was killed and another critically injured when a microlight plunged to the ground in Krugersdorp on Saturday, Gauteng paramedics said.

The injured man was airlifted to hospital, Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said.

The cause of the accident was unknown but the Civil Aviation Authority would be investigating.

      Initial accounts are that they flew into power lines so a BRS may not have helped.

    RIP dear friend Lisa... I just wish that News24 would get their facts straight and publish correct information. This site is forever publishing wrong information and as journalist I am disgusted that the journalists continue to misprint facts that are wrong and I am yet to find the fixed article about this anywhere on the site.
