2012-10-23 16:11

Johannesburg - A man has been arrested for possession of 3kg of cocaine at OR Tambo International Airport, the SA Revenue Service (Sars) said on Tuesday.

The man, from Sao Paulo in Brazil, was handed over to the police on Monday after cocaine worth about R1.5m on the street was found attached to his laptop, said Sars spokesperson Marika Muller.

Muller said the illegal substance was detected by a Sars drug detector dog called Monty.

She said the man would appear in court soon.

Give him a suspended prison sentence so that he'll do it again and again, he took his chances because he knew that our justice system sucks big time, iam sure he's smiling at this present moment because in six months time he'll be given a medical parole and a south African passport as a part of his release package.
