Johannesburg - A man has been arrested for the murder of his wife in Hammanskraal, Gauteng police said on Sunday.

The 41-year-old had confessed the crime to his mother, said Captain Pinky Tsinyane.

The 24-year-old woman was shot dead on Saturday.

Police said the man had also wanted to kill himself, but decided to back out.

Easy to commit crime and murder if you are on the side dishing it out. When the shoe is on the other foot it becomes a different story. This is a good example of cowardness. If the death penalty gets imposed again, criminals will think twice...Proof me wrong. I can see all the thumbs down all ready

death penalty is needed, we should have executions broadcast on tv, let em see the consequences, middle eastern style punishments. and let em spin a wheel to decide on their end, bronze bull, hanging, firing squad, mob justice, and drowning.

I believe if something belongs to you let it free, if it really mean to you it will come back to you. Its a shame to kill someone in whatever reason.Let her go if is not the one you want.

I believe the same but to kill is not an answer only God is the one to take our lives

There's another version of that which some believe in: if you love something set it free. If it is meant to be it will come back to you. If not... hunt it down and kill it!

Ho Hum. Third page news again. If this happened in a 'first world' country, it would make front page. Tomorrow here it will be forgotten. Docket lost, insufficient evidence, lack of interest... Bail, extended trial period a couple of years. Why bother - 'DEATH SENTENCE'..... 'Finish and klaar'.......

What is a 24 year old girl doing with a 41 year old man? She is still in her mid-twenties and she still does partying and stuff. She probably met a nice guy and the young chemistry turned her on. You ladies should stop rushing to date men just because they are old. I suggest you start dating males that are on the same level of maturity with you
